Alicia godsey omaha | Omaha police have arrested a sixth person for aiding and abetting 27-year old Michael Sebesta who was on the run for allegedly shooting his roommate Philip Burden back in January.

Twenty-five-year-old Craig Klaus, was arrested Friday. Klaus was already detained in jail for a different offense.

Sebesta was in court Friday, along with three others who police say were “accessories” to the shooting of Burden.

She says the whole ordeal is hard to believe.

“It’s comes as a shock that all this is happening because this is a pretty serious crime, but again it’s the drugs in this town,” says McCord.

Police say the sisters provided food and clothing to Sebesta while he was on the run for the murder of his roommate.

“To me he seemed like a good kid. He dated my younger daughter, he was nice and respectful. He didn’t swear or cuss to me he was a decent person.”

Her attorney, Tim Olsen says she recently met Sebesta and helped him get a hotel room at the Comfort Inn, where he was eventually arrested by police.

Olsen says Godsey had no idea he was on the run.

“She fully cooperated with police and in fact told them where he was located. That’s why he was apprehended. She’s cooperated throughout.”

Sebesta maintains his innocence and will be back in court in March. He is being held without bond.
